kha­la­saṃ­ba­ndhi­nī­nāṃ gi­rāṃ sva­ccha­nda­tā ya­tra Lta­trā­vi­cā­re­ṇa pra­vṛ­ttiḥ | ata eva ta­dga­tāḥ śa­bdāḥ ke­cid api pa­ra­mā­rtha­spṛ­śo na bha­va­ntīty ātma­naḥ stu­tiṃ sa­tāṃ ca gu­ṇa­go­pa­naṃ mū­ḍhaḥ ka­thaṃ na ku­rvī­ta | ku­rva­tām eva do­ṣā­bhā­vāt ta­tkā­ra­ṇaṃ na ni­ṣe­dhā­ma itya­rthaḥ || 22 ||
yo­gyo 'ham eva mama ye* tu guṇā na sa­nti
tān dū­ṣa­yed asa­ta eva ka­thaṃ hy asā­dhuḥ |
lo­kā­pa­vā­da­pa­ri­dhū­sa­ra­tām avā­ptai-
r dū­ya­nta eva gu­ṇi­no nanu tair abhī­kṣṇam || 23 ||

ślā­ghyaḥ sa eva ni­ja­vaṃ­śa­su­me­ru­ku­ñja-
ka­lpa­dru­maḥ su­ca­ri­tā­ti­śa­ye­na ya­sya |
