This is my 2011 Magisterarbeit (M.A. dissertation). It is currently undergoing a thorough revision for publication, in order to include the commentary of Alaka, as well as evidence from further manuscripts not yet available to me in 2011, such as that of a 12th century palm leaf manuscript from Jaisalmer. Furthermore it is now going to be typeset in Devanāgarī.
