ba­bhā­re­ti bha­ra­ṇaṃ po­ṣa­ṇaṃ dhā­ra­ṇaṃ ca mu­ku­lā­khyā dṛ­ṣṭiḥ yad uktaṃ sphu­ra­dā­śli­ṣṭa­pa­kṣmā­grā mu­ku­lo­rdhva­pa­ṭā­ñci­tā | su­khā­mī­li­ta­tā­rā ca mu­ku­lā dṛ­ṣṭir iṣya­te | mu­ku­lā­nāṃ ca ku­ṭmlā­nāṃ dṛ­ṣṭir da­rśa­nam_
sphu­ṭa­ma­latvāt so­tpa­la­si¯¯rā­va­taṃ­sa­sa­dṛ­śam indu­bi­mba­ca­ndra­kā­nta­ca­ṣa­ka­sā­myān na lakṣi­taṃ yat tan ma­dhu­no­tkṣi­pya­mā­ṇam ivā­vi­rbhū­taṃ ta­tpṛ­ṣṭhe pla­va­nāt_
ka­rka­ryaḥ ka­ri­kā āḍu­kā ity anye
sa­mā­ne uda­re śete so­da­ryā bha­gi­nī so­da­rā­dyat_

ni­raṃ­ku­śas sva­ta­ntro nira­sta­sṛ­ṇiś ca rā­gaḫ pra­bhā raṃ­ji­taṃ mu­khaṃ ya­tra ya­sya ca ni­ra­pe­kṣā ni­ssaṃ­ko­cā ghṛ­ṇāśū­nyā ca | pa­ri­ṇa­man_ kāye pra­sa­rpan_ āghrā­ṇaś ca sve­daṃ mū­traṃ pu­rī­ṣaṃ ca ma­daṃ caiva ma­taṃ­ga­jaḥ | ya­syā­ghrā­ya vi­mā­dya­nti tam āhur ga­ndha­ha­sti­nam_

su­rā­sa­vaṃ su­rā­bhi­dhā­naṃ madyam_
ma­nma­thaḥ śa­rī­bhū­ta­sya ca­kṣu­ṣaḥ sa­ndhā­nā­ye­va kā­ntā­yāẖ ka­ra­pa­dmaṃ pa­kṣai­va puṃ­kha­bhā­gas ta­tko­ṭi­saṃ­spa­rśe loluṃ ba­bhū­va | ma­da­va­śād akṣṇaḫ pa­kṣma­ṇi ka­ra­spṛ­ṣṭe jñā­ta­da­yi­ta­yai­va sma­ra­śa­raḫ priyaṃ pra­ti sa­ndhi­tsi­ta ity abhi­prā­yaḥ |
vi­kā­se­na vi­kā­saś śo­bhā ta­nmo­ṣa­ma­jja­na­ka­sya ma­dhu­naḥ ka­ro­ty uttaṃ­so­tpa­la­ni­mī­la­nāt_ ana­pe­kṣya nai­rghṛ­ṇye­na
tā­mraṃ śū­laṃ ta­syai­va ru­cir ya­sya
udbhi­nnā vya­ktā bā­la­sya ku­ṭi­lā­ṅgu­lir evā­nu­kā­ri­ṇī na­kha­paṃ­ktir ya­syāṃ
akra­maṃ vi­śa­rā­ru­ta­yā
pa­dma­kśo nā­ma­ha­staḥ | uktaṃ ca . ya­syā­ṅgu­lyas tu sa­ra­lās sa­hā­ṅgu­ṣṭhe­na kuṃ­ci­tāḥ | ūrdhvā­ntya­saṃ­yu­tā­grāś ca sa bha­vet pa­dma­ko­śa­kaḥ kuru­vi­nda­ko­śaṃ pa­dma­rā­ga­vi­śe­ṣa­ca­ṣa­kam_
pa­ri­srut surā dū­rā­dhi­ro­he­ṇa pra­ka­rṣaga­tyā abi­bha­gaḥ adhā­ra­yan_
si­ti­paṃ­ca­ru­haṃ nī­lo­tpa­lam_
adha­ra­kā­nter vi­śli­ṣṭabhe­das sa­mā­no ma­da­sya rā­gaḫ pra­bhā ya­yoḥ |
dṛ­ṣṭer ma­dai­nai­va ra­kta­tvād go­ttra­skha­la­na­jaḥ | krodho na da­yi­ta­vi­ṣa­ye vya­ktaḥ viṣādas tu hṛ­da­ye dṛ­śaḥ sta­bdha­tā­ra­ka­tve­na ni­ve­di­taḥ
pu­ṣpa­va­rṣair na­tā­ṅgyaḫ pri­ya­ta­māḥ sta­na­la­gna­tvād abhi­na­ndi­ta iva
saṃ­bhṛ­tya saṃ­gha­ṭa­ya | ni­di­gdhām upa­ci­tām_ pi­cu­laḥ aśo­ka­vṛ­kṣaḥ |
ārū­ḍha pā­kā­ni pa­kvā­ni yāni pha­lā­ni ta­dvi­ṣa­ya­va­rti­naḥ kī­rāś śukā yā­sām_ anvi­ta­gu­ṇās sa­dṛ­śyaḥ śu­ka­śi­rī­ṣā­ṇāṃ tu­lya­va­rṇa­tvāt_
śa­śi­ru­co ṅga­nāḥ
ca­tu­ram eva cātura pra­jñā­di­tvād aṇ_ pā­na­he­tau ca­tu­ra­tā­ra­tam yam ati­śa­yas ta­sya bhe­do nā­nā­tvam anu­ba­dhna­nti yāḥ | prasā­das sva­ccha­tā roṣo pa­ga­maś ca
ta­syā­kṣṇaḥ pre­ra­ṇa­yā kṛto yaḥ ka­rṇam asya bhaṃ­gaḥ ta­dbha­yeneva
vi­ka­si­to­tpa­la­da­rśa­ne­na sa­khyā ka­syā­ścid anu­mi­to ma­da­naḥ ve­da­sya cā­sya vi­kā­sa­sa­ma­yaLḫ pra­bhā­taṃ tā­vat tva­yā­tra ra­nta­vyam ity āśa­ye­no­tpa­laṃ vi­kā­sya kā­ntā­yā­da­rśa­yat_ tac cā­lo­kya sa­khyā vai­da­gdhyād anu­mi­taṃ sa­myak_
aṃ­śa­va eva pa­kṣmā­ṇi tai ra­myāḥ smi­ta­sta­ba­kā ye­ṣāṃ tā­dṛ­śā vi­bhra­ma­pa­lla­vā ya­sya ta­dbhā­vaṃ latā iva yo­ṣi­to ma­dhor ma­dya­sya va­sa­nta­sya ca pra­sa­ṅgam āsā­dya da­dhuḥ
tena sa­pa­tnī­sa­nni­dhau pā­ya­nena ya­thā | ma­ttā na ta­thā pī­te­na ma­dye­na
māno pa­rā­dhā­sa­hi­ṣṇu­tvaṃ ta­drū­po va­le­po madaḥ ta­tsa­mbhṛ­tam api dhai­ryam upo­ḍhā­nu­na­ya­tvāt_ ma­dhu­nī­va ma­gnam_ upo­ḍha dhṛ­tam_
ba­hu­ma­to hi­ta­saṃ­pā­da­nā­dha­ra­ṇī­yo tha ca pri­ya­ta­maḥ
ga­li­ta­mā­na­rug ya­syāḥ
utkali­ṅgās ta­ra­ṅgā api ma­ka­ra­ke­tus sa­mu­dro pi
rāgo bhi­ṣa­ṅgo pi | pa­dā­ni su­ptiṅa­ntā­ny api ce­ta­so mado va­ktrā­dī­nāṃ tu rā­gā­da­ya iti vi­ro­dhā­bhā­saḥ spa­ṣṭa eva
anu­pa­plu­taḥ sa­nda­ṣṭa­ka­kā­ka­li­pra­bhṛ­ti­gī­tu­do­ṣa­ra­hi­to rā­gaś śā­ḍavādi­gī­ta­vi­śe­ṣo ga­rbhe ya­tra rā­gaś cā­nu­rā­gaḥ | ta­syā­nu­pa­plu­tas tvam anu­ttā­na­tā kalasva­rāẖ kā­ka­li­pra­bhṛ­ta­yaḥ sva­rā­va­ya­va­bhe­dāś śru­ta­yaḥ tā­sām asaṃ­kī­rṇa­ta­yā kṛ­ta­ni­ya­mā hā­ri­ṇaś ca ye śru­ti­sa­mā­hā­ra­rū­pāḥ ṣa­ḍjā­da­yaḥ sva­rās taiḫ pra­sṛ­tā sā­ra­ṇo­tta­ra­ma­drā­di­kā mū­rcha­nā ya­syās tā­dṛ­śī va­lla­ky āśrā­vi­tā vā­di­tā yaiḥ
bhā­vo nu­ba­ndhaś ca ve­ṇu­vā­da­na­vi­śe­ṣau bhā­va­sya ca ra­tyā­khya­syā­nu­ba­ndhaḥ pra­vā­haḥ rā­ga­ṣṭa­kcha­kā­rā­dir anu­rā...gaś ca
samā sro­to­ga­tā go­pu­cchād eti tri­dhā ya­tir dhva­niśū­nyaḥ kā­las sa­ma­pā­ṇir ardha­pā­ṇir iti tri­vi­dhaḫ pā­ṇiḥ dru­ta­ma­dhya­vi­la­mbita­bhe­de­na tre­dhai­vā­nu­ra­ṇa­na­rū­po la­yaḥ ka­la­ta­lā­da­yo vi­bhe­dā ya­sya tā­dṛ­śasya dhā­toḥ vyaṃ­ja­na­pū­rva­sya yad vā­cyaṃ tad vi­stā­re­ṇa ra­myām_ ca­tvā­ro hi dhā­ta­vo vi­stāra­ka­ra­ṇāṃ vi­ba­ddha­vyaṃ­ja­na­pū­rvāḥ vyaṃ­ja­na­dhā­toś ca­lā­da­yo bhe­dāḥ | uktaṃ ca . vi­stā­raẖ ka­ra­ṇaḥ cai­va vi­śu­ddho vyaṃ­ja­nas ta­thā | ca­tvā­ro dhā­ta­vo jñe­yā vā­di­tra­ka­ra­ṇā­śra­yāḥ vyaṃ­ja­na­dhā­tau pu­ṣpaṃ ka­la­ta­la­ni­ṣko­ṭi­taṃ ta­tho­tsṛ­ṣṭam_ re­phe nu­ba­ddha­saṃ­jño nu­sva­ritaṃ bi­ndur ava­sṛ­ṣṭam iti
ane­ka­pra­kā­raẖ ka­lpaẖ ka­lpa­naṃ ya­sya ta­thā­vi­dhe­na koṇasya vā­da­na­kā­ṣṭhi­kā­yā ha­na­ne­na ma­dhu­ra­sva­rā kū­rmī tri­sa­ri­kā sai­ra­ndhrī­ti pra­si­ddhā
hṛ­da­yaṃ va­kṣo ma­naś ca bhā­va­nā ava­dhānaṃ śra­ddhā vā
ārdro ma­no­ha­ro ma­da­vaśāt ku­ṇṭhā­kṣa­ra­tne­na skha­li­ta­pa­da­tvāc chu­ṣka ivārtha­śū­nyaṃ hi gī­taṃ śu­ṣkam abhi­dhīyate | ārdraś ca ka­thaṃ śu­ṣka iti vi­ro­dhaḥ
śi­ṣya­ta iti śe­ṣam_ akaritari ca kāLraka iti ghañ_ gī­tam eva śe­ṣaṃ gī­ta­śe­ṣam_ ka­rma­sā­dha­naś śe­ṣa­śa­bdo vi­dhe­yava­lli­ṅgaḥ ya­thā ma­ndā­ki­nyāḥ pa­ya­śśe­ṣam_ iti | bhā­va­sā­dha­naṃ tu puṃ­syai­va saṃ­ma­taḥ
su­ra­tam eva nā­ṭa­kaṃ ta­sya pū­rva­ra­ṅgaḥ pra­stā­va­ka­tvāt_
kāpi su­nda­rī pri­ya­mu­khāt_ kā­pi­śā­ya­naṃ ma­dyam abhi­la­ṣa­nty ā pra­bhā­tāj jā­ga­ram ai­cchat_ na tu śā­ya­naṃ pṛ­ṣṭhaṃ śaya­na­saṃ­ba­ndhi ta­lam_
bhā­vā­ve­śo gī­ta­sya hṛ­da­yaḫ pra­ve­śas tena mī­li­te ne­tre ya­tra ta­thā kṛ­tvā gī­tam āka­rṇya pu­nar apā­yaḥ ¯¯nta tāẖ kā­mi­naḥ ma­dyam iti sā­ma­rthyāt_ ||
