aṅga­nā­nāṃ hārā mau­kti­kaiḥ | śo­bhāṃ svī­ca­kkrur eva ya­thā ka­ra­ṇa­ga­ṇair aṅga­hā­rāḥ cā­rī­nṛ­tta­hastā­di­yo­ga­ja­nyaiḥ ta­la­pu­ṣpā­di­bhiḥ ka­ra­ṇair ni­rva­rtya­mā­nāḥ sthi­ra­ha­stā­da­yo ṅga­hā­rā ya­thā­ha­ra­nti śo­bhāṃ ta­thā mau­kti­kaiḥ ¯¯ itya­rthāḥ vi­spa­ṣṭa­dā­rḍhyā ... gu­ṇās ta­nta­vaḥ pra­ka­ṭaś ca dra­ḍhi­ma­gu­ṇo bhyā­so­tthaṃ sthai­ryam_ sthā­naṃ pra­de­śaḥ sthānāni ca vai­ṣṇa­vā­dyā­ni || uktaṃ ca . vai­ṣṇa­vaṃ sa­ma­pā­daṃ ca vai­śā­khaṃ ma­ṇḍa­laṃ ta­thā | pra­tyā­lī­ḍham athā­lī­ḍhaṃ sthā­nā­ny etā­ni ṣaḍ nṛ­ṇām iti | la­kṣa­ṇaṃ sva­rū­pa­vya­va­sthāpako dha­rma tac ca ma­ṇi­śā­stre bha­ra­te
śo­bha yeṣāṃ apy uktam_ śṛ­ṅgā­ra­sthi­tyā­ra­mye­ṇa pra­ti­hā­sa­ga­rbha­vyā­pā­re­ṇa ma­hā­vya­sa­ne­na ca | nā­ya­ke­nā­nu­yā­tā ca­tu­raṃ kṛ­tvā ka­lā­bhir nṛ­tta­gī­tā­di­bhir āñchi­tā āya­tā śrīr ya­syāḥ ataś ca nā­ṭi­ke­va sāpi hi śṛ­ṅgā­ra­sya ra­sa­sya sthi­tir ya­syāṃ sā ta­thā | ra­rmo na­rma­ga­rbha­sya kai­śi­kī­vṛ­ttibhe­da­sya vyā­pā­ro ya­syāṃ sā na­rmana­rmaspaṃ­ja­na­rma­spho­ṭa­na­rma­ga­rbhā­khyāḥ kai­śi­kī­vṛtti­bhe­dāḥ ta­tra na­rma­ga­rbhi vi­jñā­na­rū­pa­gu­ṇa­sa­mpa­dā­di­bhir nā­ya­ko gu­ṇair ya­tra pra­ccha­nno vya­va­ha­ra­to kā­rya­va­śān na­rma­ga­rbhas sa iti la­kṣi­taḥ ta­thā | ata­na­vo rasā hā­syā­da­yo ṅga­bhū­tā ya­syāṃ sā nā­ya­ke­na ca dhī­ra­la­li­tā­khye­na yu­ktā ca­tu­rbhir aṅkair vi­cche­da­bhe­daiḥ śrīr ya­syā tā­dṛ­śī ca || uktaṃ ca . īrṣyā­pra­ṇa­ya­kro­dha­pra­sā­da­rati­ha­rṣa­saṃ­pa­nnā | ba­hu­nṛ­tta­gī­ta­vā­dyā śṛ­ṅgā­rā­di­na­ya­vi­na­ya­saṃ­yu­ktā vi­ra­hotsu­kya sa­mā­ga­ma­su­khā­nvi­tā nṛ­pa­ti­ca­ri­ta­saṃ­ba­ddhā strī­prā­yā ca­tu­ra­ṅkā la­li­ta­padā na­ṭi­ke­ty uktā ya­trā­rtha­sya sa­mā­ptir ya­tra ca bī­ja­sya bha­va­ti saṃ­hā­raḥ kiṃ­cid avala­gna­bi­ndus so ṅka iti sa­tā­va­ga­nta­vya iti vai

anvī­to nvitaḥ sugandhir iti ga­ndha­sye tve ta­de­kā­nta­gra­ha­ṇa­sya co­di­ta­tvād itve na prā­pno­ti bahirvai­kā­nti­ko ga­ndhaḥ | evaṃ ta­rhi ga­ndha­syā­nta­rlī­na­ta­yā kṛ­tti­ma­tve­nā­pra­ti­bhā­sa­nād ekā­nti­ka­tvam upa­ca­ri...tam itī­tvaṃ na vi­ru­dhya­te | upa­mā­nād vā bha­vi­ṣya­ti su­ga­ndhir iva su­ga­ndhir iti
pra­stā­vo va­sa­raḥ pra­stā­va­nā ca | ya­syā la­kṣa­ṇam_ naṭī vi­dū­ṣa­ko vāLpi pā­ri­pā­rśvi­ka eva ca sū­ttra­dhā­re­ṇa sa­hi­tās saṃ­lā­paṃ ya­tra ku­rva­te | ci­ttrair vā­kyais svakā­ryo­kthaiḥ vī­thya­ṅgair anya­thā­pi vā | nā­ṭa­ka­sya ca | paṃ­ca­sa­ndhi ca­tu­rvṛ­tti ca­tu­ṣṣa­ṣṭya­ṅgasaṃ­yu­tam_ ṣa­ṭtriṃ­śa­lla­kṣa­ṇo­pe­taṃ nā­ṭa­kaṃ pa­ri­ca­kṣa­ta iti
gā­ṇi­kyaṃ ga­ṇi­kāsa­mū­haḥ | ga­ṇi­kā­yāś cety au­pa­saṃ­khyā­ni­ko yañ_ tat kā­na­naṃ ca gi­ri­ta­ṭaṃ la­kṣayi­tvā reje anta­ram āpno­tī­ty anta­rā­pi ke­śa­ma­dhya­prā­ntaṃ cū­taṃ va­sa­nam iva bi­bhrat_ va­sa­nam apy anta­rā sa­khya pi­cu­nā kā­ryā­se¯¯taṃ vi­hi­tam_ giri vāci | sā­mo­dasthi­ti pra­hṛ­ṣṭam_ ka­rṇi­kā­bhiḥ ka­rṇā­laṃ­kā­rair abhi­rā­maṃ saha vi­ka­ṭe­na hāreṇa va­rta­te yaḥ ta­dbhā­vaṃ da­dhat_ kā­na­nam api ma­dhya­vyā­pi cū­taṃ bi­bhrat sa­sau­ra­bha­sthi­tibhir gi­riẖ ka­rṇi­kā­bhir oṣa­dhi­bhe­daiḥ | abhi­rā­maṃ saha vi­vi­dhaiḥ ka­ṭa­hā­raiḫ pu­ṣpabhe­dair va­rta­te |
ni­rbā­ṇā ni­ssṛ­ta­bā­ṇā­khya­ku­su sthi­tir ya­sya apa­va­rti­tā vā­te­na calitā elā ni­ṣku­ṭyo ya­tra dra­vya­vi­śe­ṣā ya­tra na vi­bhiḫ pa­kṣi­bhiḥ āptam avyā­ptaṃ tādṛśaṃ na api tu tair vyā­ptam eva atha­vā ni­rbā­ṇāṃ sthi­tiṃ vi­śe­ṣe­ṇā­ptam api tu prā­ptam eveti yo­jyam_ anya­tra ni­rvā­ṇā pra­śā­ntā sthi­tir ya­tra apa­ga­te va­rtis tai­rṇaṃ ca ya­sya naviṇā­ptaṃ na ta­du­da­ye ta­sya pra­śaṃ­sa­nāt_ taṃ gi­riṃ prā­ta­sta­naṃ prā­bhā­ti­kam_ āpe prā­ptā

vā­me­tyā­di ka­lā­pa­kam_ pā­ri­bha­drās ta­ru­vi­śe­ṣāḥ
ha­ra­yo vā­na­rāḥ sā­lās ta­ra­vas ta­dvi­śe­ṣā va prā­kā­rāś ca rā­māḥ stri­yaḥ rā­maḥ ca dā­śa­ra­thiḥ śu­kā­nāṃ sā­ra­ṇa­mā­na­ya­nam_ śu­ka­sā­ra­ṇau ca rā­va­ṇā­pa¯¯ gha­nair mu­stai ru­ci­rā akṣā vi­bhī­ta­kā yeṣu tais sā­nu­bhir vyā­ptā gha­na­ru­ci­bhiś ca ja­la­dapra­ra­teḥ rā­kṣa­sair anu­vi­ddhā
kā­ṣā­yo ra­saś ce­to­ha­ro vā śa­bda­spa­rśa­gu­ṇa­sya vā­yoḥ ga­ndhā­khyo guṇe nai­va svā­bhā­vi­ko yas tū­pa­la­bdhaḥ sa ku­su­ma­sa­mbha­va ity adhi­ko sau guṇo
ga­ṇa­nā­ti­go­ca­raḥ saṃ­khyā­ti­kra­nta­vi­ṣa­yaḥ |||
va­sa­nte pu­ṣya­nti vā­sa­ntyaḥ kālān sā­dhu­pu­ṣya­tpa­cya­mā­ṇe­ṣv ity aṇ_ vya­ti­ja­ha­sur iti ka­rmavya­vahāre ita­re­ta­rānyo­pa­pa­dāc cety ātma­ne­pa­dā­bhā­vaḥ |||
pa­ri­ṇa­tir na­śyad ava­stha­tvam_ su­grī­ṣmo vasa­ntaḥ ta­thā ca pra­yo­gaḥ su­grī­ṣma­ke na dṛ­ṣṭo na ca mā­gha­ni­śā­su dī­rgha­dī­rghā­su | dra­ṣṭavyāḫ pa­thi­ka puro ha­tā­śa­yā tvaṃ ka­thaṃ na ma­ye­ti | atra ca ku­nda­pu­ṣpaṃ mu­ku­lā­va­stham eva na­śya­ti ta­sya prā­ye­ṇa śai­śi­ra­tvāt_ |||||
pra­tya­grair aṅku­rair aśri­ta­śri­yaṃ pra­tya­grāṃ ku­ra­va­kā­khyaiḥ pa­kṣi­bhiś ci­ta­śri­yaṃ ca pa­ttri­ṇaḫ pa­kṣi­ṇaś śa­rāś ca śa­ra­di na­dī­ta­ṭe­ṣu dhā­nu­ṣkair abhya­syaLdbhis sa­śū­tkā­rāś śa­rāḥ kṣi­pya­nte | ma­tta­kā­si­nī pra­ga­lbhā yo­ṣit_ |||
dhī­rās sva­lpa­ke sthāne nai­vā­rtā dai­nya­bhā­jo bha­va­nti |||
tre­tā­gniḥ āha­va­nī­yā­di­va­hni­tra­yī ta­tra sthi­tyā sa­dṛ­śaṃ sa­nni­ve­śaṃ bi­bhrat_ tri­ṣu pa­lla­ve­ṣv agni­ṣv avo­pa­ri­sa­nni­ve­śe­na va­rta­mā­na itya­rthaḥ | atra eva ka­ṇḍū­lā­khyo ha­sta eva ta­tra hy aṅgu­ṣṭa­ta­rja­nī­ma­dhya­mā­nāṃ tre­tā­gniva­du­pa­vi­ṣṭā­nām upa­ri va­kra­ta­yā pṛ­ṣṭha­pā­ti­nya­nā­mi­kā va­rta­te yad uktaṃ tre­tā­gni­saṃsthi­tā ma­dhyā­ta­rja­nya­ṅgu­ṣṭha­kā yadā kāṃ­gū­lo nā­mi­kā va­krā ta­thā co­rdhvā ka­nī­ya­sīti |||
bha­gnā­nāṃ ji­tā­nām api pu­nar uktar eva bhaṃ­gaś che­da­nam akā­ri chi­nnā­nāṃ ca che­da­naṃ pu­nar uktam eva
yat pu­ṣpe ka­thaṃ tad aṅga­nā­yāḥ pha­la­tvam āpnu­yād iti vi­ro­dhaḥ pu­ṣpa­syaiva pha­la­rū­pa­tā­pa­ttau kā vi­ru­ddhā­rtha­te­ti cet_ āha . pu­ṣpa­tve pīti sati hi pa­ri­ṇāme pu­ṣpa­sya pha­la­rū­pa­tā na tu sva­rū­pa evā­va­sthi­ta­syaiety avi­ro­dhaḥ |||
ni­ṣpha­lo pi ta­rus tāruṇī­śle­ṣāt pha­lam abhya­dhi­kaṃ prā­pa |||
sa­mu­nna­tā ga­rvi­tā­pi |||
ra­saḥ śṛ­ṅgā­ro pi rā­gas sa­ktir api pa­lla­vā viṭā api |||
aga­ṇi­tā va­llī­nāṃ vi­pa­ttir ya­tra pāne ma­lī­ma­sāḥ pāpā api |||
ana­sthi­du­rni­vī­taṃ he­la­yā du­ṣprā­vṛ­tam_ anu­ra­ha­sam ekā­nte anva­va­ta­ptā­rahasa ity ac_ na na na vyā­ñjīn pra­ka­ṭī­ca­kā­ra vai lā­la­sā spṛ­hā |||
ya iṅgi­taṃ nā­jā­na­nti te pi kva­cid api kā­rye dī­rgha­sū­trāḥ kā­la­kṣe­pi­ṇo na bha­va­nti |||
saṃ­bhra­ma­ntyās sa­saṃ­bhra­mā­yāḥ neti kā­kvā |||
anau­ka­haḥ ta­ra­vaḥ | asu­ma­na­ska­tā ni­ṣpu­ṣpa­tvam_ ya­sya ca pa­lla­vā aṅga­bhū­tāś chi­dya­te ta­syās su­ma­na­ska­tā dau­rma­na­syaṃ bha­va­ti |||
dhū­myā dhū­ma­sa­mū­haḥ māśādi­bhyo yaḥ abhi­luṃ­khi­tā jva­li­tā |||
āna­taṃ sra­stam_ |||
avi­saṃ­sthu­lān upa­ha­tā sphu­la­śrīḫ pa­ṭa­maṃ­ḍa­pa­śo­bhā kā­ma­sya ku­su­ma­pra­dhā­nais ta­ru­bhis saṃ­pā­di­tā |||
ma­no­ra­maḥ pre­yān_ vya­lī­kaṃ no tra skha­li­tā­di­vi­pri­yam_ |||
he­ma­tā­ḍye­va tā­ḍa­ṅkaḥ ka­rṇā­bha­ra­ṇam_ ta­tsa­hi­te py eka­smin ka­rṇe | pra­sā­dhi­tā­sthāṃ ma­ṇḍi­to yam iti bu­ddhi ta­thā va­dhūr nā­kṛ­ta ya­thā sapa­tnī­sa­mmu­khaṃ pri­ya­ni­ve­śi­te­na pa­lla­ve­na bha­ge dvi­tī­ye |||

upadā ḍhau­ka­ni­kā |... bi­bbo­kaḥ ce­ṣṭā­vi­śe­ṣaḥ te­nāṃ­ci­taṃ ni­hiṃ­ci­taṃ ca śiro ya­syāḥ | uktaṃ ca . iṣṭā­nāṃ bhā­vā­nāṃ prā­ptā­va­ti­mā­na­ha­rṣa­sa­mbhū­taḥ strī­ṇām anā­dha­ra­kṛ­to bi­bboko nāma vi­jñe­yaḥ kiṃ­cit pā­rśvo­na­ta­grī­vaṃ śiro jñe­yaṃ strī­ṇāṃ cai­tat pra­yo­ja­yed iti |||
skha­la­na­ccha­la­naṃ kṛ­tvā ca­ra­ṇā­bhyāṃ du­rni­vi­ṣṭā satī kā­cit pri­ya­sya śi­ra­si śe­kha­raṃ Lba­ba­ndha | ka­nda­lī latā ||
saṃ­ra­mbhaḫ pra­ya­tnaḥ |||
sā­śaṃ­kaṃ sa­pa­tnī­bho­ga­śaṃ­si pri­yaṃ sne­has
sambā­dho ja­la­bā­hu­lyam_ raṇaraṇa­kam utka­ṇṭhā paṃ­cakomo grā­ma­rā­ga­bhe­daḥ ni­rla­kṣaṃ nirvi­ṣa­yam anya­tra | ga­ta­ci­tta­tvān sa­ndaṃ­śā­khyaṃ ka­rā­gram abhra­ma­yat_ ta­rja­nya­ṅgu­ṣṭha­saṃ­yo­gas tv arā­la­sya yadā bha­vet_ abhu­gna­ta­la­ma­dhyaś ca sa saṃ­daṃ­śa iti smṛ­taḥ ||||
akṣi­bhra­vam ity aca­tu­rā­di­sū­tre ni­pā­ti­tam_ vipakṣa­vā­mas sa­pa­tnī­pra­ti­kū­laḥ re­ca­ko bhra­ma­ṇam_ hā­vaḥ ce­ṣṭā­vi­śe­ṣa uktaṃ ca . prā­pte­ṣu śṛ­ṅgā­ra­sā­śra­ye­ṣu bhā­ve­ṣu kā­mā­ṅku­ra­ci­hna­bhūtam_ utpa­tsya­to yat smi­ta­vī­kṣi­to­ttham unmī­li­taṃ ra­mya­ta­yā sa hāva iti |||||
udvṛ­ttā unnata­va­rtu­lā upa­plu­tāś ca gu­ṇas ta­ntus sau­ja­nyaṃ ca ||||
ne­pa­thyam āka­lpaḥ ma­sṛ­ṇam anu­ddha­tam_ āsthā sthi­tiḥ raso rā­gaḥ kai­śi­kī nāma vṛ­ddhir ava­sthā­vi­śe­ṣaḥ ya śla­kṣṇa­ne­pa­thyavi­śe­ṣa­ci­ttrā strī­saṃ­yu yā ba­hu­nṛ­tta­gī­tā kā­mo­pa­bho­ga­pra­bha­vo­pa­cā­rā tāṃ kai­śi­kīṃ nāma va­da­nti vṛ­ttim_ |||
śe­kha­ro gu­cchaḥ ra­saḥ svā­daḥ pa­de­na ki­la­kiṃ­ci­taṃ ce­ṣṭā­vi­śe­ṣaḥ śu­ṣkaṃ kṣa­ṇaṃ pra­ru­di­taṃ kṣa­ṇam asru­pā­taḥ kro­dho mu­hu­rha­si­tam āśu pu­naś ca gī­tam_ vyā­miśra­rū­pam iha ha­rṣa­ra­sa­pra­yu­ktam uktaṃ ja­naiś śru­ta­dha­raiẖ ki­la­kiṃ­ci­tā­khyam_ |||
śru­tau ka­rṇe śru­ti­bhiś ca su­kha­tā su­kha­kā­ri­tvam_ sva­rā­ra­mbha­kā dhva­na­yaḥ ka­la­sva­rāḥ kā­ka­līpra­bhṛ­ti­dvā­viṃ­śa­ti­bhe­dāś śru­ta­yaḥ mā­yū­rī ma­yū­ra­sa­mba­ndhi­nī vi­ru­tiḥ kekā sva­rasya ṣa­ḍja­syā­śra­ya­tāṃ prā­ptā ṣa­ḍjaṃ va­da­ti ma­yū­ra ity ukteḥ mā­yū­ryā­khyā mu­ru­jā mā­rja­nā | sva­rā­śra­ya uktaṃ ca . gā­ndhā­ro vā­ma­ke kā­ryaṣ ṣa­ḍjo da­kṣi­ṇa­pu­ṣka­re | ūrdhva­ke paṃ­camaś cai­va mā­yū­ryās tu sva­rāḥ smṛ­tā iti |||
akṣu­ṇṇā navā śa­ta­ma­nyu... śa­tā­pa­rā­dha |||
maṇa­yaḥ ta­nma­yaiḥ pa­ttrair ma­ṇḍa­na­śrīr ya­syāḥ sa­dvṛ­ttaiś śu­bhā­cā­rair api ||||
śu­ṣkā ni­ra­rtha­kā jhaṇ ṭhuṃ ityā­da­yo va­rṇā ya­sya tā­dṛ­ggī­ta­tu­lye tad dhi va­ktra­pā­ṇi­nā­mnā pū­rva­ra­ṅgāṅge­ṇa śo­bha­te uktaṃ ca . nā­dya­vṛ­tti­vi­bhā­gā­ya va­ktra­pā­ṇir vi­dhī­ya­ta iti mā­lyācchā­da­na­vi­bhū­ṣaḥ vi­le­pa­nā­nām anā­ra­da­nyā­saḥ sva­lpo pi ¯¯śo­bhām_ ja­na­ya­ti yas sā ttu vi­cchi­ttiḥ
āva­dhyo­mbhi­tvā ni­sspa­nda­ta­yā jha­ra­ṅkā­śa­ṅkā tṛ­ṇa­pu­ru­ṣa­bhrā­ntiḥ ||||
ava­hi­ttham ākā­ra­se­va­va­ra­ṇam_ du­rvi­da­gdhaṃ du­śśi­kṣi­tam_ |||
ma­ka­ra­nda­sya śī­dhu­naś ca pāne vyā­sa­ṅgaḫ pra­sa­ktiḥ strī­bhis ta­nya­mā­no li­bhir yu­va­ti­bhiś ca ya­thā­kra­maṃ navā latā evo­tsa­vo na­va­la­tā­khyaś ca va­sa­nto­tsa­vo bhi­na­ndi­taḥ | ya­trā­bhi­na­va­yā va­dhvā la­ta­ye­va Lma­dhau dru­maḥ | sva­yam āli­ṅgya­te kā­ntas sa syān na­va­la­to­tsa­vaḥ ||||
kā­ntis sau­ku­mā­ryaṃ ceti dva­ndvaḥ | adhya­vā­tsya­ta adhi­ṣṭhā­tāḥ vi­śe­ṣe ni­ṣṭhā­rthi­tā ye­ṣām_ vi­śe­ṣa­ni­ṣkā­tā vi­śe­ṣa­ku­śa­lāḥ ni­na­dī­bhyāṃ snā­taḥ kau­śa­la iti ṇa­tvam_ |||
mā­lya­gra­tha­ne vi­ka­lpāḥ pra­kā­rā eva śi­lpāẖ ka­lpā gu­ṇyau gu­ṇa­vān_ ka­mpra­ka­ra­ṇe anye­bhyo pīti ya­mmatva­rthī­yaḥ
vi­le­pa­nam aṅga­rā­go ma­kko­lā­di­raṃ­ja­naṃ ca aṅgā­nāṃ ca va­rta­nā ya­thā­svam atina­yāḥ ci­ttre ca kū­rśi­kā­cir unmī­la­nā nā­ṭyaṃ nṛ­ttam eva ci­ttraṃ ta­sya bhi­ttīr ādhā­nabhū­tāḥ |||
kā­le­va sa­ma­ye­na sphu­ṭaṃ pra­ka­ṭam_ asa­tā avi­dya­mā­ne­na śva­sa­no vā­yuḥ
prā­pto va­ṣṭa­bdhas san_ ||| ta­syā­pa­rā­dha­sya sma­ra­ṇe­na pā­ṭa­la­dṛ­śyā pre­ya­syā sa yuvā tayā kāṃ­cyā ni­ba­ddhaḥ |||

pra­mā­ṇe­tyā­di­nā śrā­ntā­khyā dṛ­ṣṭir va­rṇi­tā ya­syā lakṣa­ṇam_ śra­ma­pra­mlā­ni­ta­pu­ṭā śyā­mā­ntā­ñci­ta­lo­ca­nā | sann ā pa­ti­ta­tā­rā ca śrā­ntā dṛ­ṣṭiḫ pra­kī­rti­te­ti añcitau pra­sṛ­tau ni­pā­ti­te adho­mu­khe
na­khā­ṅkānakṣa­kṣatāni ye cā­ṅkā nā­ṭya­kā­dya­va­ya­vās te bi­ndu­nā ci­ttrā ja­na­sya pre­ya­tvam upa­ga­tā bhrā­jante bi­ndur artha­pra­kṛ­tiḥ yad uktam_ pra­yo­ja­nā­nāṃ vi­cche­de yad avi­cche­da­kā­ra­ṇam_ yā­vat sa­mā­ptir ba­ndha­sya sa ba­ndhur iti kī­rti­taḥ ...| yo mu­kha­sa­ndhau kṣi­ptaḥ kila va­sa­ti ca­tu­rṣv api sa­ma­ntāt_ tai­la­sya bi­ndha­vo mbha­si ya­thā sa bī­jā­śra­yo bi­ndur iti |||

bhṛ­ṅge­bhya iti ru­dhya­rthā­nāṃ prī­ya­mā­ṇa iti saṃ­pra­dā­na­tā sva­do ru­cya­rtha­tvāt_ ||| ta­sya mu­khe­ndoḥ dṛ­ṣṭau da­rśa­ne |||
ma­na­si­ja eva nṛ­tto­pā­dhyā­yas ta­syāspa­da­tāṃ ga­tās su­dṛ­śo vi­hā­rā­nte va­no­tsa­ṅgān ni­rī­yur na­rta­kya iva tā āpi pā­ttra­tvaṃ vā­mā­dy anu­ka­rtṛ­tā nā­ṭa­kā­di­sa­mā­ptā va­ṅkād abhi­nī­ya­mā­nā nā­ṭa­kā­dy ava­ya­vān na­rta­ka­pū­rvaṃ ni­ssa­ra­ti pū­rva­tra vi­ṣka­mbho vi­stā­ras ta­tsthi­tyā vi­śa­da­pra­ve­śāḥ su­ga­māḫ pa­nthā­no ya­tre­ti yo­jyam_ ita­ra­tra vi­ṣka­mbho vi­ṣka­mbha­kaḥ pra­ve­śaḫ pra­ve­śa­kaḥ vi­ṣkambha­va­tpra­ve­śa­ka­sva­rū­paṃ ya­tre­tya­rthaḥ aṅke hi vi­ṣka­mbha­ka­pra­ve­śa­kau ka­tho­pa­kṣe­pakā­ri­ta­yā prā­ya­śas su­dṛ­śau ataś cai­kam evā­ṅke pra­yuṃ­ja­te ka­va­yaś śu­ddhas saṃ­kī­rṇo vā dvi­vi­dho vi­ṣka­mbha­ko tra vi­jñe­yaḥ ma­dhya­ma­pu­ru­ṣaiś śu­ddhas saṃ­kī­rṇo nī­ca­ma­dhya­kṛ­taḥ pa­ri­ja­na­ka­thā­nu­vi­ddhaḥ pra­ve­śa­ko nāma vi­jñe­yaḥ no­tta­ma­ma­dhya­ma­pu­ru­ṣair ācarito nāpy udā­tta­va­ca­na­kṛ­taḥ prā­kṛ­ta­bhā­ṣā­cā­raḫ pra­yo­gam āsā­dya ka­rta­vyaḥ |||
spṛ­ṣṭa īhā­mṛ­gā­ṇāṃ sū...ṇāṃ ḍimo yu­ddham_ ya­tra ta­thā­vi­dhā vī­thi­kāḫ pa­nthā­no ya­tra śoLbha­ne ṅke utsa­ṅge vī­nāṃ pa­kṣi­ṇām āyo­gas saṃ­ba­ndho ya­tra sphu­ṭā daśā svo­ci­tā ava­sthā yeṣāṃ te­ṣāṃ rū­pa­kā­nāṃ mṛ­gā­rbha­kā­nāṃ vya­va­sthā sthi­tir ya­tra atha ca nā­ṭa­ka¯¯ pra­kara­ṇam aṅko vyā­yo­ga eva ca bhā­ṇas sa­ma­va­kā­raṇaś ca vī­thī pra­ha­sa­naṃ ḍi­maḥ īhāmṛ­gaś ca vi­jñe­yo da­śa­maẖ kā­vya­la­kṣa­ṇa iti yad da­śa­rū­pa­kā­khyaṃ kā­vyaṃ tad va­da­va­tiṣṭha­mā­nam_ di­vya­pu­ru­ṣāt_ kṛto di­vya­strī­kā­ra­ṇo­pa­ga­ta­yu­ddhaḥ īhā­mṛ­gas tu kāryas su­sa­mā­hi­ta­kā­vya­ba­ndhaś ca pra­khyā­ta­va­stu­vi­ṣa­yāḫ pra­khyā­to­dā­tta­nā­ya­kaś caiva ṣa­ḍra­sa­la­kṣa­ṇa­yu­ktaś ca­tu­raṃ­ko vai ḍi­maẖ kā­rya ityā­di ca da­śa­rū­pa­ka­sya la­kṣalam abhi­hi­taṃ da­śa­rū­pa­kā­dhyā­ye |||
rā­sa­kā mṛ­ga­vi­śe­ṣāś ca vā­ṅkaś ci­hnam_ rā­sa­kāṅkaś ca rā­sa­kāṃ­kaś ca ko­la­ho­kto nā­ṭya­pra­kā­raḥ | uktaṃ ca . aṣṭau ṣo­ḍa­śa dvā­triṃ­śad ya­tra nṛ­tya­nti gā­ya­kāḥ | piṃ­ḍī­bandhānu­sā­re­ṇa tan nṛ­ttaṃ rāsakaṃ vi­dur iti tā­lās ta­ru­vi­śe­ṣāś ca­śca­pu­ṭa­cā­ca­pu­ṭā­da­yaś ca
ru­ci­rais sai­ka­tair abhi­rā­māẖ
ko­vi­dā­rāś ca­ma­ra­kākhyās ta­ra­vas ta­tra lī­nāṃ bhra­ma­ra­pa­ṅktim ālo­kya kā­cit ko­vi­dā ra­lī­nāṃ go­ṣṭī­nāṃ prastā­vam aka­rot_
kiṃ­ki­ṇyo gha­ṇṭi­kā au­ṇā­da­yo tra kiṃ­ka­ṇī­kā­śa­bdaḥ caṃ­kvaṇe kiṃ­ka­ṇa ceti
śā­lāṃ ja­ya­na­śā­lā iti pra­si­ddhāḥ
ta­ra­ṅga­vā­ta eva ca­ṭu­laṃ do­la­naṃ dolā ye­ṣāṃ tān iti vi­ka­sa­nti sva­rṇa­pa­dmā­ni ya­syām_ ra­tna­cū­rṇam eva dhū­lis ta­tpra­dhā­nās ta­ṭa­bhu­vo ya­syāḥ sya­ndi­nī nadī ||
