nṛsiṃhanakhabhinnaṃ āti
śabdaḥ
kramato na yujyata iti cet_ maivam_ sāmarthye sati samāse bhavitavyam_ ataḥ
paraṃ caivaśabdaḥ śruto na tenāsya sāmarthyam anvayābhāvāt_ yady evaṃ vakṣaśabdād a
nantaram asya prayogas tena ca saha samāsaḥ prāpnoti tasyaivāsya saṃsargān nityādhikā
re ca vacanena vigrahasya nirāśāt_ evaṃ tarhi cchandoviṣayatvād asya vākyasya na do
ṣaḥ | asati tatra cchandograhaṇe kathaṃ tadviṣayatvaṃ niścinuma iti cet_ asty eva ta
nniścayanibandhanaṃ tatrabhavato bhāṣyakārasya vyavahāraḥ yadāsau chandoviṣayam eva ta
trodājahāra kanye iva vāsasī iveti anyatra ca laukikaprayoge bhinnakramam i
śabdaṃ prayuyuje siṃharūpam iveti atra ca siṃhīva rūpam ity artho vivakṣito na
tu rūpam iva siṃhīti yas tu brūyāt_ cchāndasa ivāyaṃ prayogaḥ cchandasyāpi tathā da
nād iti tanmate chandasi nityaṃ samāsāvedanaṃ pūrvapadaprakṛtisvaratvam upalabhyata i
ti kathaṃ bhinnakramatvam ivaśabdasya yuktiyuktaṃ syāt_ laukike tu prayoge na kaścid do
ṣaḥ | ity alaṃ vācālatayā
sphaṭikamaṇayaḥ tadaśmanāṃ gṛhāṅganam_ dugdhasindhur iva
yatra sphura
nād iveti | ¯ hi yoṣito vadanendusamaṃ paśyati
jā
lamārgo valambitaḥ sa aindrajālikatvād dagdham api kiṃcid utthāpayann avabhāsate
adhunā karāḫ pāṇayo jālaṃ vyājo mārgaḥ saraṇiḫ prapaṃco vā utthāpanaṃ pratyujjīvainam_
ni
tambaḥ prasthikāpi darśanā kolambā api kūrmī trisarikā sairandhrī iti prasiddho
vīṇāviśeṣaḥ priyasya patyur nakhānām agrakoṇaiḫ prāntabhāgair avama
priyaś ca ruciratvād atirucite nakhānām agre sthito yaẖ koṇo vādanakāṣṭhikā tenā
vamarṣo nigharṣaṇa
ubhe eva pārśve ubhayapārśve ubhaśabdaḥ samānārtha ubhayaśabdo vṛ
ttāv eva
yatra vadhūnāṃ gaṃḍabhuvi pratibimbitaṃ śaśikala¯¯ vyarucat_ sacihnaṃ lāṃ
chanasahitam_ ata eva guṇakiṇaśavalaṃ yattalaṃ prakoṣṭhādraṃ tatsadṛśam acchama
ṇiḥ sphaṭikaḥ nyāso nikṣepaḥ
jyotī
taiḥ loṣṭakaiḥ cito dṛ¯¯ iṣṭakeśīkāmālānāṃ cittatūlabhāriṣv iti hrasvaḥ vapraḥ
prākāro nibho vyājaḥ
jhaṣaketanasya makaradhvajasya jhallaryo vādyabhāṃḍaviśeṣāḥ
tā api nūpurasadṛśajhāṃkāriṇyaḥ
agurudhūpayo
racakraṃ yatra śliṣyatoḥ gavā
ṣpeṣeṇa kila yuktam iva śobhāṃ vrajati kiṇasya kṛṣṇatvāt_
āsanno yaḥ śaśika
rebhyo bhaṅgaḥ kṣayas ta¯¯ hastā iva timirasya dhūpadaṇḍaḥ pra¯¯ dīrghaśikhā ivāṅgu
lyaḥ dīrghā śikhā koṭir yāsā tathāvidhāḥ ¯¯¯¯ saraṇam_
navayauvanāś cājara
ḍhāḥ pallavāḫ pattrāṇi tata¯¯¯ñjavīthī tarugahano mārgaḥ purandhrayo mukhyayoṣitaḥ
bhruva eva śarāsanāni dhanūṃṣi
manmatha eva mataṅgajaẖ karī tasya dantapratimāsāmyaṃ
bibhrāṇāni yatrotpalāni mukulitāny api rucā na daridrati na hīyante atra ca deśa
saubhāgyaṃ hetur bibhratīti vā napuṃsakasyeti num_
kūvarī rathaḥ kūvarī syād yugandha
ram_ vanamālā puṣpapattramayī srak_
lāvaṇyasahitā kāntir evāmṛtapravāhaḥ
aṭṭālam upari yuddhasthānam_ tatprayānas sālaḥ purīprākāraḥ tasya valayarūpatvā
d ālavālānukaraṇam_
vyaktīkṛtāvayavāḥ prakaṭīkṛtāṅgyaś candrakalāvac ca
rucirarūpā mṛgīdṛśo yatra hṛdayam āvarjayanti
saudhaṃ dhavalaharmyaṃ viśrāntiviṣayatayā hāso yāsām_ hāvo ratyaṅgasaṃbhavaḥ ce
ṣṭāviśeṣaḥ uktaṃ ca
cako jñeyo hāvo ratyaṅgasaṃbhava iti bhāvo bhilāṣaḥ
niketo gṛham_ lohita e
vāśrayavaśāl lauhitīkaḥ sphaṭikaḥ karkalohitādīkak_ amandarucaḥ sūrya
sya priyāya tvadanugrahād gṛhītamāhātmyair asmābhir arātayo vaṣṭabhyānītā itīṣṭaṃ
nivedayituṃ kvacid aśītarucir iti pāṭhaḥ tatra priyāya teṣām eva hitam ādhātuṃ
raviṇā vandīkṛtāḥ śaśikarā yeṣv iti yojyam_
adhiniśīthini rātrau vibhaktye
rthe vyayībhāvo vibhāvaryā vikāro vaibhāvaranaiśa¯¯¯¯ anyatra vikāre rthe vidheyaḥ
bhāvādau tu kālāṭ ṭhañ iti ṭhañ eva syāt_

karṇitavantaḥ deśāntare 'pi tatsadṛśaṃ nāde tam evādhyavasanti utka
vidhūtapakṣaṃ jātikriyāviśeṣatā svabhāvoktir uktā
aśmagarbhaṃ marakataṃ harinma
ṇir ityarthāntaram_ | pariṇāmī pariṇato ṅgeṣu saṃkrāntaḥ ciraṃ bahukālam upa

harmyam uttamāgāraṃ pratidiśaṃ diśi diśi avyayībhāvo śaratpravṛttibhyaḥ
iti ṇac_ udabindavo jalakaṇāḥ manthodaretyādinodakaśabdasyodabhāvaḥ

śī tiraskṛtarucitvāt pātālāntaram iva praviśati vailakṣyād iti bhāvaḥ kaluṣatā
kalaṃkakṛtaṃ mālinyaṃ nirvedaś ca hṛdayaṃ madhyaṃ manaś ca
kuṭṭimāgrād iha kṣipto nupa
yogān nirastāẖ karā raśmayaḥ karaś ca pāṇis tadāhananapātanasya yogyatvāt_
patyur īśva
rasya sambandhinām āliṅgānāṃ murujaviśeṣāṇāṃ nādena racitā sthitir yatra tādṛśī
yā vyarucat_ nānāprakāro py avanaddhajāteḥ tripuṣkaraṃ vādyam ihādyam āhuḥ tatrāṅkakā
liṅgakasaṃjñakau dvāv anyas tathā cordhvakanāmadheyaḥ tasyāś ca nāyikatvapratīteḫ patyu
ḫ priyasyāliṃganaviṣayeṇādareṇa citā vyāptā sthitir yasyā ity api yojanā
nirmā
ṇadeho deśakālādyavacchinnam icchānirmitaṃ śarīraṃ tadghaṭanā gṛhītā yena ā
pitam arīṇāṃ cakkraṃ samūho yena kṣapitāri
dhavalāḥ śvetā avacūlaṃ cihnam_
prapannā vaśenāgatāḥ
sāhāyakaṃ tripuradāhe sa
hāyatā yopadhāv iti vuñ_
pṛṣatkaḥ śaras tāṇḍavitamākṛṣṭam_ cāpo |
uṣṇīṣaś śiroveṣṭanam_ | pratipathas svargo ¯¯¯¯¯¯ abhimukhīva krodhā
veśāt_

bandhaparibhraṣṭaḥ śaśī yasya kareṇa kṣaṇaṃ ciraṃ vidadhre kṣititale
māledhiṣṭeti indor andhaka iva salīlaṃ vandīkṛto vaṣṭabdhaḥ tathāvidhasya ca śiśo
ẖ kareṇa dhāraṇam ucitaṃ vātsalyāt_ palāyanabhayād vā
parameṣṭhī brahmā

m uddhataṃ nṛttam_ ḍambaraḫ prapañcaḥ parikramaḥ pādasaṃcāraḥ ||
yasya gulphe
ghaṭitā
maṃḍalapūrvalekhā parivartulapradhānā maṃḍalasya vā bimbasya pūrvā prathamā ka
lā yasya tādṛśaḥ śaśī śirasi dhārāparyasanena viśīryamāṇamaṇeḥ pādaka
ṭakasya śobhāṃ vrajati anukāro nṛttam_ daṃḍapādo daṃḍākāratayordhvaṃgataḥ caraṇaḥ
cārya ekapādapracārarūpā ¯¯sya ākāśaś ca samapādātiklāntādyāḥ
dapracāro yas sa cārīty abhidhīyate
kālakūṭacchāyeva rātrir iti vākyoktaṃ rūpakam_ kirīṭasya mauler ūrdhvasthānam_
yaddeśe kirīṭaṃ kriyate

premāmṛtena pūritatvād atra hṛdaye mamāvakāśaḥ sthānaṃ na vidyate amṛtasa
nnidhau ca viṣasyāvakāśaḫ prasaro na bhavati sandhukṣitaṃ dīpitaṃ
yasya saroṣatayā tṛtīya
kāntiṃ o
kṣobho vimardaḥ
laḍitam ullasitaṃ laḍahā manoharāḥ
guṃjā raktikā
¯¯¯ mayūraḥ lecane
eva śaṃkumayūrapiṃchācitau śarau
sīkarair vyāptā diśo śa¯¯¯ tathā kṛtvā kareṇa
yasyārjunakopaprabhāvo gharmāmbhaẖkaṇānicayaḥ kṣiptaḥ kṛ vikṣepe gaccha¯¯¯
guṇaḥ ||
ardhabhāge kucaṃ pratibimba¯¯¯
¯¯¯vīṇāvādanasamaye yasyā¯
¯¯¯¯ puro deśe sthitiḥ kāṇḍavīṇety api pāṭhe yam evārthaḥ
śailasutāyā mukhe
ndubimbasya darśanaṃ jalāṃjalau pratibimbitatvāt_
tasya saṃbandheḥ parīkṣām ivāra
bdhukāmaṃ nayanaṃ yasya vegān niriyāt_
yasya saṃbandhino
khāṃśubhir viṣadīkṛtapurodeśā vahniśikhābhiś ca kapiśāḥ praṇatiparāṇāṃ ru
drāṇāṃ dṛśaḥ || pāṇḍuramūlasya kamalasya śobhāṃ dhārayanti
siddhasādhyanāmnām amarā
ṇāṃ samūhās taṃ devam upacerur asevanta caraṇayoḥ | saparyā pūjā tayā bandhurā mano
hāriṇy ata evāvandhyās saphalā sandhyā yeṣāṃ paryante pratisargaṃ ratnapadaṃ prayatnataḥ
prayuktavatā nijanāmāṅkaṃ kavinā viracitam etan mahākāvyam_ ||
iti rājānakajayānakasūnor alakasya kṛtau haravijayaviṣamapadodyote prathamas sargaḥ ||
